The Aegis Cartridge

We don't build radiators. We build Thermal Ammo Cartridges. A 1U-sized aluminum box containing 5 independent, rolled-up Kapton inflatable radiators.

  • "Blow and Roll" Pneumatics: Fluid pressure unrolls the radiator. When punctured, a mechanical constant-force spring violently rips the dead balloon back inside. Zero electronics required for retraction.
  • Smart Scavenging: The spring action squeezes 80% of the surviving coolant back into the manifold before the valve closes, dropping backup fluid weight enormously.
